Description
Macclesfield’s Step Into Christmas celebration takes place on Saturday 28 November 2026 from 11am to 5pm, bringing a full day of festive entertainment to the town centre.
The programme includes live music curated by Choose Macc on the Silk FM Stage, walkabout performers, workshops, a Made in Macc makers market and seasonal activities around Market Place and the Town Hall.
Macc Youth Brass Band is due to perform around the Christmas tree from 11.30am to 12.30pm, while the Father Christmas Parade is scheduled to make its way through the town centre from 3pm before a festive sing-along.
There is no traditional switch-on moment or fireworks this year, so visitors can drop into town at any point during the day and enjoy the entertainment, shops, cafés and restaurants.
