Teeny Town opens in Macclesfield with imaginative play for young children

A new indoor play centre has opened in Macclesfield, giving younger children a new place to play, explore and use their imagination.

Teeny Town, based in the Grosvenor Centre, opened on Monday 21 September. The centre has been created by early years educator Chloe Watkins, who says the idea grew from seeing a gap in Macclesfield for more imaginative play opportunities.

The venue is aimed at younger children and has been designed as a smaller, more intimate play setting rather than a large soft-play centre. Sessions are £10 for 1.5 hours, £6 for non-walkers and free for babies under six months. Parents and carers stay with their children during sessions, with snacks and refreshments available to buy.

Teeny Town is also available for private birthday parties on Sundays.

The opening adds another family-friendly attraction to Macclesfield town centre and gives parents another indoor option as the weather turns colder.
